What actually fits in a load
Nobody thinks in cubic yards. Here is what each size holds in real terms, so you can pick without guessing.
- Half load, 7yd
- Up to 500kg. A three piece suite and a few bags, a small garden clearance, or a single room cleared out. Roughly the same as a builder’s skip.
- Full load, 14yd
- Up to 1000kg. A flat clearance, a large garden, or bulky furniture plus general waste. Roughly two builder’s skips.
- Single items
- Sofas, mattresses, fridges and washing machines collected on their own, without paying for a full load.

Four steps, and the price is fixed before anyone turns up

- 01Tell us what you haveOnline, on the phone, or send photos on WhatsApp. Thirty seconds is usually enough.
- 02Get a priceFixed before we arrive, covering labour, disposal and paperwork. No hidden lift charges.
- 03We turn up and loadThe crew does the lifting, from inside or out. Nothing sits on the road waiting for a permit.
- 04You get the recordA waste transfer note every time, so you have proof of where your waste went.
Recycling is the floor. Reuse is the point.
Furniture and appliances with life left in them go to reuse and charity partners before anything is processed as waste. Every load goes to a licensed transfer station, and nothing is ever fly tipped.
What we take
- General household and garden waste
- Furniture, sofas, beds and mattresses
- Fridges, freezers and appliances
- Electricals and WEEE
- Construction waste, wood, plasterboard and insulation
- Hardcore and soil
What needs a word first
- Hazardous waste and chemicals
- Asbestos
- Tyres and fire extinguishers
- POPs furniture, handled separately
We can still take most of these. They just need pricing properly rather than being sprung on the crew.

Questions we get asked
- Do I need a permit?
- No. A skip left on the road needs a council licence, which costs money and takes time. We collect and leave, so there is nothing to license.
- Do I have to move anything to the kerb?
- No. The crew loads from wherever it is, inside or out.
- How fast can you come?
- Same day is often possible depending on where you are and how the day is running. Call and we will tell you straight.
- What happens to my waste?
- It goes to a licensed transfer station where it is sorted, reused where possible and recycled. You get a waste transfer note as proof.
- Is the price fixed?
- Yes, once we know what we are collecting. Anything extra on the day gets priced before we load it, not after.
